I am not getting reset password or verification email

Help getting password/verification emails

 

  

If you are not receiving the email there can be two reasons below. Please note emails come from notifications@signplanet.net


1. The email is being placed in the spam folder

Many education departments in particular run a "reset" on approved emails, so you will need to find the email in your spam/junk and then right button click "approve sender" or "do not spam sender" or words to that effect.


Apparently emails are also by default not sorting by Date in that folder - change that so you can see the most recent emails to find it.


90% of people are finding it there. A small percentage have something else going - see problem 2


2. You are logged in and not logged in at same time

There is a weird glitch happening mostly in Chrome browsers where a user is in both a logged in and not logged in state at the same time


IF you see at the top of the main page at SignPlanet.net the words Hi <your name>

- click "my account"

- click LOGOUT

- Close browser

Then try again

What can we do to help

We can

  • Send a test notification to you from our email. For some reason sometimes once you get the test email miraculously you then get the password notification as well. This makes no sense to us either and yet almost 100% of the time this works.
  • Change your email address for you, if you think your education department etc may be blocking it.
  • FORCE log you out, to force the system to reset your status.
  • Force through a password reset email

What can NOT do

We can not reset your password for you or look up your password.
